Winnebago Travato Mice Situation

This is not the first time within only a month that I noticed some noise from mice intruders in my van. The first time was a few weeks ago… I tried to trap them with a few options:

  1. Using Tomcat Bait Station Traps
  2. Using Tomcat Glue Traps

However, few days after, it seemed that they left my van by themself. Probably, it was from all the bumpy road I had driven on during that week.

For this one, I noticed the noise in my van especially during very morning time of a day (2 – 3 am) for 3 – 4 days. So I tried again. This time, I tried to trap them with the Glue Traps. This morning, I caught 2 of them.

I looked at them and contemplated for a full 2 minutes deciding what I should do with them. The only option I could was to put them in a bag and throw them in the trash can. I’m not too happy doing that. I figured next time, I will pour some cooking oil on them before throwing them away… hoping that they can use the oil to help them to escape from the glue.

Next steps:

  • Crawling beneath the van to inspect all entry points beneath the van and stuff all those with steel wool
  • Every time I park, I will spray Rodent Repellent on all 4 of my tires to avoid them from jumping in from the tires
  • Crossing my fingers to not have them in my van again
