Radiator replacement and Coolant Fluid Flush

The date on the dashboard was reset to default due to the battery replacement previously. Therefore, the date is not correct.

I took the van to have the mechanic check the engine ticking noise while I visited Thailand. Here were all of the work they ended up working on the van.

  1. Identifying where the ticking noise came from – They could not recreate the issue.
  2. Checking on the brake pads – Still OK
  3. Replacing the radiator – While leaving my van at their shop, they noticed the coolant was leaking on the ground. After they looked into it, they found a leak in the radiator. They recommended to replace it, which I approved them to do the work.
  4. When replacing the radiator, they had to flush the coolant and refill it with OEM coolant. This also has been done.
  5. I also bought a OEM diluted 50/50 coolant to use in the future.
