Successful Struggle

After work today, I went for a little sightseeing and a hike at Joshua Tree National Park. During a hike at Barker Dam, I spotted a sign that reminded me some true facts with my own life.

I have leaned that only when I have been put through some struggle. That struggle actually helped me to find what I needed to adapt and flourish again.

Moreover, It is so true about adapting to the desert, not fighting it. If I still hold the anger, disappointment, pettiness, and that I am right attitudes, I will not be able to be here at this peaceful state of mind.

Don’t fight with life, adapt to it or accept it as you have chosen it. Be like water…. Those are just some teaching that came to my mind…

This experience helped me to find true joy in me no matter what the circumstance is.

And it taught me to realize that there is actually a water source when life is dry or difficult… That water source is within me and it never runs out.

She who is centered in the Tao can go where she wishes, without danger.

She perceives the universe harmony, even amid great pain, because she has found peace in her heart.

Music or the smell of good cooking may make people stop and enjoy.

But words that points to the Tao seem monotonous and without flavor.

When you look for it, there is nothing to see.

When you listen to it, there is nothing to hear.

When you use it, it is inexhaustible.
