Give it forward

Staying at the last 2 Harvest Host ranches in Arizona has taught me that there are still people that are truly kind and willing to give it forward without asking for anything.

I had to admit that I was being super sceptical that someone would allow me, a total stranger, to be parking in there property without asking me for anything.

With the host I’m currently staying in Golden Valley, AZ, Moe (the host) was just doing her things and letting me do my things (most of the time is working all day, then go to the gym, and come back to sleep).

We only had a few little talks here and there. But I could see she is a very kind person.

I got to meet her neighbor, Greg, while I was eating hard boiled eggs and pineapple for dinner at a picnic table. He drove his golf cart by and we got to talk. I told him that I felt that Moe is such a good person and I still couldn’t believe that we still have people like this.

He said good people are still here.

It was a simple sentence but it made me pause and think. Yes, what kind of world I have been living in that made me think that this was almost impossible. I felt so greatful that we still have people like this to remind others of what we should and can do.

Being kind and good is truly something you don’t ask anyone else to be, just be it yourself and leave the rest to the world.

Thank you and thank you… the best I could say.
