Issue:
My awning started to not close all the way.
Here is how I fixed it:

Note: Mine is an original configuration of the awning.
What you need:
4mm Allen wrench
Steps:
- Climb up on your roof
- Have the awning extended out for ~10″
- Turn the bottom 4mm hex clockwise (note: mine was really loose so i had to turn it quite a lot)
- Then bring the awning back in
- DONE!
Or we can use the tool that came with the awning motor replacement from Carefree
