How to fix 2017 Winnebago Travato 59K Awning does not close all the way

Issue:

My awning started to not close all the way.

Here is how I fixed it:

Note: Mine is an original configuration of the awning.

What you need:

4mm Allen wrench

Steps:

  1. Climb up on your roof
  2. Have the awning extended out for ~10″
  3. Turn the bottom 4mm hex clockwise (note: mine was really loose so i had to turn it quite a lot)
  4. Then bring the awning back in
  5. DONE!
