I took my bike here to have Cliff (the owner) go over to make sure that I would be safe riding it. Cliff scheduled me to come back the next week and he worked on my bike within a day of the following week.

He went over:

  1. Replacing Derailleur cable
  2. Replacing Dropper Seat post cable
  3. Rear break pads replacement
  4. Cutting the handle bar to make it more narrow for me
  5. Replacing the chain (the old chain was too stretched which caused the shifting to not shift properly)
  6. Go through all components of the bike
  7. He found that a spring in one of the shifter was installed backward, and he fixed it.

He told me to keep an eye on my break shifter (on the right side of the handle bar) since it seems to not releasing quickly after releasing it. This can be caused by having the bike in the heat for a long time… Of cause, I keep my bike on the back of my van all the time. No wonder. He said that both tires were still in good shape. (Even I inserted inner tube in my back tire to fix the leak from the last ride, it should still be ok.) But overall, my bike is now in good shape.

He cleaned up my bike really nicely. Unfortunately, it didn’t stay clean for that long because of the dirt/dust that got kicked too the back of my van while driving.

Total Cost: $133.45
